What To Expect
Calvary Kids is our children's ministry here at Calvary Chapel Wilmington for children from birth all the way up to 5th grade. Each weekend, kids dive deep into God's Word in a fun and energetic environment as they are cared for by a loving team.
Check-in
Check-in opens 15 minutes before each service. You may check your child in at any available station. After finding your child’s name in the database, you and your child will be given matching identification tags that are exclusive to your family and visit. All of our staff and CF Kids volunteers have been cleared through InstegraScan, a complete background check and volunteer screening services for churches.
0-3 Year Olds
Little ones will be with a loving team that welcomes and cares for them. Activities are planned for their different stages of development.
4-8 Year Olds
Children will learn a Bible lesson, create fun crafts, and interact with other children their own age.
9-12 Year Olds
Kids will enjoy their own engaging Bible lesson, relevant music, and hands on activities that help bring God's Word to life.
SAFETY/CHECK IN
Your child is important to us. We utilize a check-in system where each child is assigned a unique number on a name tag, and only the parent with the corresponding tag can pick up that child.
On your first visit, we need the following personal information: parent/legal guardian names, children’s names and birthdates, address, phone number and any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for each child.
This information is entered into our database to help maintain our secure check-in system.

Safety and security are top priorities for us.
For everyone’s safety and security, all Calvary Kids volunteers have undergone a background check, and are not alone with children at any time.
We also have a dedicated safety team that monitors the Calvary Kid’s secure area during all services

Men and Women
Men of Calvary
The Men of Calvary strive to sharpen each other through the study of God’s word, fellowship and worship together. Our men's events and times of fellowship take place periodically throughout the year. Information can be found at Guest Services. The highlight of the year is a men’s retreat.
Women of Calvary
The Women of Calvary is designed to reach women of all ages and stages. Through the wonderful work of Christ, God has put us together in the family of God, so no matter what age or stage you’re in, you don’t have to walk alone! You’re part of our family and we invite you to grow with us! Our women's events and times of fellowship take place periodically throughout the year. Information can be found at Guest Services. The highlight of the year is a women's retreat.
Friday Night Bible Study
A Bi-monthly Bible Study meets at the church on the first and third Fridays of the month. Come at 6:30pm to join us for a meal together before getting into the study. This study will be focused on an overview of the Bible, currently continuing in Genesis.
You are welcome to bring a side or dessert to contribute; follow the link to the meal train to sign up a specific part of the meal or simply come and enjoy.
