At Calvary Chapel, we believe that it is a natural response to being a part of a church family to serve the body of Christ! God is changing lives every week at Calvary, and we know there is simply no greater joy than to know you are used by God in a way that makes an eternal impact on others.

Ministries
Guest Services
The Guest Services ministry exists to provide a hospitable and welcoming environment for everyone who comes to Calvary. Whether its greeting folks at the door, directing traffic, or serving at Holy Grounds coffee house, there is a place for you!
Ushers
First and foremost, we are here to serve. Ushers greet people and welcome them, ensure that the sanctuary is neat, clean and properly supplied, and receive the tithes and offerings. More importantly, the usher is the first person a guest may talk to; therefore, they are the ambassador's of CCW, and the Lord.
Parking Lot attendants
Welcome and direct guests to a parking place, and keep traffic flowing smoothly.
Holy Grounds
Holy Grounds Coffee House is open before and after both services at a discount price to bless the Body, visitors, and guests. Volunteers will train to become baristas at the full-service espresso bar.
Communion & Offering
Prepare the Eucharist before service, and serve Communion during services. Also, volunteers will collect offering and attendance cards as needed.
Special Events
CCW has numerous events throughout the year. In order to have a fun and successful event, our church relies heavily on volunteers coming together as part of a team to decorate, prepare and serve food, or organize handouts.
Greeters
Greeters’ duties include welcoming, greeting, distributing bulletins to attendees. A greeter is a smiling face, who is willing to engage with the regulars, visitors, and guests on a personal level if the opportunity arises.

Creative & Technical Arts
CCW has embraced a contemporary worship setting, as well as technological innovations to further the Kingdom. In that respect, we are always looking for tech savvy volunteers willing to work with video, sound, and computers.
Worship Team
Do you play an instrument? Do you have a calling to play for the Lord? Our contemporary worship style calls for drums, guitars, keyboard/piano, other percussion, and vocal talents. If you have proficiency in these instruments AND have prayed and know that this is a ministry God has called you to, please fill out the form!
Sound Team
Our sound ministry is headed up by Geoff Jay. Geoff has a passion for the Lord, and a desire to bring the highest quality support for the Praise and Worship team, and services. Our sound techs support services, worship team practices, and special events at the church. If you have technical prowess, an interest in installing and/or operating A/V equipment, then the sound booth might be the place for you!
Video & Graphics Team
Calvary Chapel of Wilmington is embracing technological advancements as tools for the Kingdom. The V&G team wants your help to bring a high caliber product to reach as many souls for Him as we can. It's not just running the computer during services anymore. From streaming video to building a graphic showcase during worship, you can help!
Audio / Video Production Team
The production team manages the CD/DVD duplication services on Sundays and special events.

Care & Outreach
One of the greatest blessings of being part of a church community is that when we are struggling, our church family is there to help. Whether it be prayer, a visit in the hospital, or a phone call of encourgement, we need our church family!
Prayer
Our prayer team is dedicated to prayer! E. M. Bounds noted "Prayer is the greatest of all forces, because it honors God and brings him into active aid."
Outreach
Each week our outreach team visits with people to uplift and encourage them.

We take our commitment to provide a safe environment for children seriously. All those who serve in the children’s ministry have undergone a criminal background check prior to serving in our children's ministry.

Holy Gounds Coffee House / Food Pantry
Words cannot describe the work that was done to make Holy Grounds the place it is today! We were in need of more space at the church, and God opened the door for us to transform a bar into a full-fledged coffee house ministry during the week, and also a Food Pantry which serves the community each Saturday by giving away food with the love of Christ.
Volunteers Needed!
Holy Grounds Coffee House is open for Sunday services, to the public during the week, and as a food pantry on Saturdays from 9-11 am. This outreach ministry reaches a over 500 lives each week. To volunteer as a Sunday barista, or to help with the food pantry, fill out a Servant Form.
Connection Groups
Connection groups are people sharing life together, studying the Bible, asking questions, learning about God, munching on some snacks, and most importantly - building relationships! Small groups provide a safe environment to explore your faith and to grow in your relationship with God and others.
At CCW we have many connection groups that meet throughout the city, providing our fellowship with opportunities to develop relationships and grow in their faith. Several times each year, we "re-launch" our connection groups to allow an opportunity for new folks to connect with a group, and to raise up new group leaders. To sign up for a connection group, fill out our web form, or visit our 'get connected' page to learn more about connection groups.
