"I often hear the term "para-church organization". Unfortunately, I think this many times can divide rather than unify the church. Whether we are a pastor in a congregation or a member of an organization like YWAM, in the end, we are all "the church". God has called believers to be lights, and to shine for him. Too many times we allow our small lenses limit what God has for us, and we end up just serving YWAM, or the church we are in, rather than serving the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. As director, my hope and desire for YWAM St.Petersburg and for all who participate in our ministries is that we would see the bigger picture of His kingdom, and allow that to open opportunities so that we as the church can glorify Jesus in many ways."
