Final things you need to know for Easter Service
Here at the CCW we’re getting excited about our upcoming Easter service this Sunday! We’re expecting God to move and change lives!
Here’s a few final things you need to know about Easter…
Confirm Your Invitation
If you’ve invited someone (and we know you have!), make a call the night before to remind them about the service. Tell them you’ll meet them in the lobby at 9:45, or better, offer to pick them up!
We’re expecting a crowd, so arrive early to help alleviate the “pre-service rush!”
Get your children checked in early
There will be a lot of parents checking their children in – and new family’s take a little longer, so we’re asking our regular attenders with children to check children in between 9:30 – 9:40.
Park in the back
With extra guests, parking may get a little tight. It would be great if our folks could not only come a little early, but also be willing to fill up the rear lot first. That way we can allow our guests to have the best spaces.
Be flexible with seating
We all have “our seat” in the church. But with extra guests, we may need to be a little flexible. We’re asking the ushers to fill the front rows first. Also, lets fill every seat – I.E. no “spacer seats” between families. And if someone sits in your seat, have the mind of Christ and consider them above yourself!
Connect with new people
One of the things new people say about our church is that they instantly feel loved and welcomed. Let’s keep that win going! If you see someone you’ve never met, introduce yourself.
Above all, please continue to pray for the service, specifically for the people who will be there who have never responded to the gospel message – pray that God would move in a mighty way to touch hearts, and change lives.
But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
– 1 Corinthians 15:57
We can change the world, one life at a time…
