From the Pastor's Heart
Eternal LifeGreetings saints in the Lord! I trust that you have all had a blessed week!

This past week we hosted the CCW Women's Ministry "Day of Prayer" womens day, and from what I heard (I couldn't go because, well, I'm not a woman!) it was AWESOME! God moved in mighty ways in the hearts of His daughters! I also really enjoyed the worship with Jessica McLean, we'll have to have her back soon!

Well, not to let the guys down, we are announcing something special this Sunday...

Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.
Matt 28:19-20 NKJV
Hebrew Fellowship
Hebrew Scroll_145 Introducing Our New Monthly "Hebrew" Home Fellowship!

The last scheduled Hebrew class was not the end of the learning process.  Due to interest expressed by many, we are planning to begin a "Hebrew Fellowship."  The first one will be April 13th.

The objective is to continue our Hebrew learning process.
Several ideas of things to do are:

1.    Continue in the workbook
2.    Review lessons learned
3.    Share insights we have gained from our own studies
4.    Examine problems areas that we have encountered
5.    Incorporate the introduction of "conversational Hebrew" in the meeting study time.

Or...all of the above.

After spending some time looking at Hebrew, we will have a time of fellowship & dessert.  We could even try our skills at having a Hebrew dinner on some occasions!

When:   Third Sunday Evening of each month
Note:     The first one will be Sunday, April 13th (after April we will meet on the 3rd Sundays)
Time:     7:00 pm
Where:  Pastor David's Home

Even if you did not complete the 12 weeks of study, you are welcome to attend.  There will be much to learn that is new and also in revisiting lessons previously learned.

If you did not take the Hebrew class but would like to join this fellowship, please click here to contact Pastor David.  He will be happy to work with you so you can learn enough to participate in this fellowship!
New Men's Study
Nehemiah_145
The Book of Nehemiah

When:
Beginning Friday, April 18  (note the new "start" date)
Time:     6:30 am
Where:  CCW Coffee Bar

On Friday April 18th, the Men's Bible Fellowship will begin a new study on the Old Testament book of Nehemiah.

Nehemiah was a godly businessman in a foreign land.  He was a man of action, a man of few words who believed that prayer and performance go together.

He had gained the favor of the king whom he served by his reliable service and had become a trusted employee.

Through news brought from Jerusalem, he learned of the demise of his beloved homeland.  This news affected him greatly to the point of action.  He became a man with a mission.

Come, join with us as we study the character of this man of God, this man of compassion and prayer, this man of faith, as he struggles with the opposition of local leaders and with the complacency and lethargy of his own people.

Watch with us as the anvil of his character withstands the blows of the opposition.  Learn with us as we study this courageous and wise man of God as he leads the people of God in rebuilding not only the physical walls of the city but also the spiritual walls of their inner man.

Learn with us how to become "a man that God uses."

The following week we will begin Lesson # 1 in our Bible Study workbooks:

> Thursday, April 3rd: prayer at 8:00 am; Bible study at 9:00 am
