A Revolution of Love…
And no one puts new wine into old wineskins. If he does, the new wine will burst the skins and it will be spilled, and the skins will be destroyed. But new wine must be put into fresh wineskins. (Luke 5:37-38)
This Sunday we’ll be kicking off a new section of the Gospel of Luke, a mini-series titled “A Revolution of Love.”
See, Jesus didn’t come to reform the religious system – He came to turn the religious system upside down, and in it’s place build a new thing that Jesus would call “the church”
“…and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” (Matt 16:18)
And this new thing wouldn’t be built on rules and regulations, but upon the deep love of God for all of mankind. A love so powerful that God gave His only Son, Jesus Christ, to take the punishment for our sins, so that we could freely embrace this new reality…
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16)
Jesus didn’t come to make us better people – He came to make us new people…
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. (2 Corinthians 5:17)
In this series we’ll witness the formation of something completely new, out of the box, totally radical… A revolution of Love
A revolution so powerful and expansive that it will impact every area of life on this planet.
Join us Sunday at 10 AM.
We can change the world, one life at a time…
